I love this Juicy Couture color-blocked dress. It is very much on trend but extremely wearable. As I have said a million times, brights are huge this season. If full-on neon is too much for you, this dress is a great way to get your feet wet without diving into the deep-end. The pink and red are balanced out nicely by the nude on the bottom for an almost retro (in a good way!) feel. I love dresses like this. They are so easy and flattering. Sometimes you don’t want to have to put in too much effort, and dresses like this one can be life-savers. Just change shoes to take it from day to evening! It is available at Net-A-Porter for $250.

I have been a little bit obsessed with designer Mary Katrantzou for the past year or so. How amazing is this dress? It makes me smile just to look at it! At first glance it reminded me of the poppy seen in Wizard of Oz. Remember when Dorothy and her friends fall asleep in the field of poppies on the way to see the Wizard? Anyways, I think this dress is fabulous. Wear it in warm weather with bare legs and heels or gladiator flats and pair it with black tights and a blazer when the weather gets chilly. I am a huge proponent of color year-round, and there is no one who does it better than Katrantzou (at least in my humble opinion). The dress is available for pre-order at Neiman Marcus for $1105.

I have tried pretty much every body scrub out there. The Fresh Brown Sugar Scrub, Philosohy’s Gingerbread Man…you name it, I have probably tried it. My all time favorite though? Bliss Super Slough Scrub. First of all, it comes in a squeeze bottle, which is way easier than wrestling with a screw-top jar in the bath or shower. It smells so fresh and clean-it reminds me of newly washed laundry actually. It uses pumice as opposed to salt to exfoliate so you don’t have to worry about using it after shaving (have you ever accidentally put a salt scrub on AFTER you shaved your legs? TORTURE!!) It also has some nice foaming action so you can skip the soap step and still feel super fresh and clean. This is the scrub I always come back to. It is available at Sephora for $36.

I love it when Neiman Marcus has their gift card promotions. You literally get paid to buy stuff! There are countless amazing resort and spring pre-order items online now so it is a good time to browse the new collections and see if there is anything you love. I also like to use the gift card promos to buy things I already need to stock up on (like moisturizer and other cosmetic products). Spend $500 and get $100, $750 for $200, or if you drop $1000 you get a $300 gift card. Not bad! The promotion ends first thing in the morning on January 24. It usually takes 8 weeks to get your gift card via email.

If one could binge on a color, I would definitely be on a hot pink binge right now. I have been inexplicable attracted to anything and everything hot pink as of late. The only thing better than the amazing fit and quality of Rag and Bone jeans? Rag and Bone jeans in highlighter pink! It should come as no shock that I ordered these babies the second I saw them. They are so fresh for spring and summer but I would wear them to brighten up a dreary winter day with a chunky sweater and boots. They also come in a fabulous bright yellow but pink is where my heart is. They are available at Shopbop for $187. You heard it here first…neon is the new neutral!

I made my first visit to the Ulta store at Eastgate shopping center the other day. My first impression was that they really even everything! From drugstore shampoos to Smashbox cosmetics, Ulta really has all the bases covered. It is a great store for some one stop beauty shopping. They also have huge selection of hair-styling tools that is much more comprehensive than what you would find anywhere but online. Lots of cool beauty tools too. I picked up a Japonesque eyelash curler but resisted the urge to buy anything else (I am a bit of a beauty junky so I have to stick to my list). I used to use a Shu Uemura curler but now that the brand is no longer available stateside I had to switch. Japonesque provides free curler pad replacements for the life of the curler which is huge. Most companies don’t do that which means when your curler pad is old you have to go out and buy a new curler. No fun! Ulta is definitely a fun store but it won’t replace good old Sephora for me (nothing can). It is absolutely worth checking out though if you are a beauty and skincare junky.

I ordered up these babies the minute I saw them this morning. A lot of my summer sandals have seen better days so I have been on the lookout for exciting new options so I can finally pitch my old ones. This MICHAEL by Michael Kors pair is fabulous. The Ariana ostrich-effect leather wedge is available in orange and turquoise (I bought the turquoise). I have an ostrich-effect leather clutch by Michael Kors and the ostrich looks so real that you can fool anyone! I think cork wedges are some of the most comfortable shoes out there. The pitch is manageable, and the cork acts as a shock absorber with each step and adds nice cushioning. I love that these have an ankle strap because I hate having my feet slide forward in mule-style wedges. They are available for $150 (no that is not a typo!) here.

I bought a fabulous pair of YSL espadrille wedges for spring/summer last year and I live in them (at least when the weather is warmer). I dress them up, dress them down, and wear them with pretty much everything in my closet. These Alexander McQueen studded gladiator wedges have a similar edgy feel which I love. Wedges used to be only for the most casual days, but designers are finally mixing it up with materials to make pairs that can be dressed up or down. Wedges are by far the most comfortable shoe style to me so I am very much on board with this new trend. This McQueen pair would add a much needed edge to a silky floral sundress or would look equally fabulous with a more fashion forward outfit. They are available at Net-A-Porter (clearly) for $595.

While out in Colorado I ran out of my favorite Guerlain foundation. There is a fabulous makeup store called the Cos Bar out in Aspen (they have a few other locations as well) and the woman there suggested I try the Cle de Peau Refining foundation. I already use and love a concealer by the brand so I decided to give their foundation a shot. I am so happy I did! It leaves skin with a smooth and flawless let luminous finish. It also has SPF 24 which I love. It does not come cheap however…a bottle costs $120 but as in all great foundation a little goes a long way so if you don’t mind spending on makeup this foundation is truly outstanding. It is available here.

I ordered this Markus Lupfer sweater and unfortunately it was too big which is sad because I loved it! No better way to perk up a dreary winter day than by wearing a purple sweater with a sequined banana on it! This sweater is everything I love about fashion. It is easy, wearable, versatile, and it has a major sense of humor. Wear it with jeans or leather pants now and wear it come spring with white denim or shorts. You can’t NOT smile when you put this baby on. I happen to love all of the Markus Lupfer sweaters on Net-A-Porter right now but this one is my favorite. It is available here for $405. Be warned that while it is not oversized, if you are looking for a more fitted look you might want to go down a size (the xs was pretty big and a little sloppy looking on me).
