Katie Marks has designed a new line of jewelry that is now available at Kilgore Trout.  Katie is most well known for her Swarovski crystal accessories but is starting to gain a following for her simple, wearable, and chic jewelry.  The quality of the materials Katie uses is high but she manages to keep the pieces affordable, which everyone can appreciate, especially now! I love her hammered silver hoop earrings that go with everything and recently bought a pair of her vintage coin earrings.   She does some fabulous necklaces as well and one of the best things about her designs is that they are very lightweight.  I hate jewelry, especially earrings, that are too heavy to comfortably wear all day and I find that I can wear Katie’s designs day and night with ease.  She sometimes embellishes her jewelry with crystals but not in a cheesy way-she keeps the pieces looking fresh and not too overdone.  Katie is a total sweetheart and is really easy to work with as well which makes doing business with her an absolute pleasure!  She is happy to tailor her designs to her client’s taste, so feel free to ask if you want a longer pair of earrings, more embellishment, or anything else.  If you want to check out Katie’s Swarovski crystal designs, you can find the link to her site under the links page of my site.
